The heat of the powder coating"cure" can bake the oil out of the bushings. Not a huge deal but they will wear out significantly quicker when the oil is gone. Discussion Starter #1 Jun 22, My front bushings are shot, both front wheels have some play in them and I can see the pivot point where the lower front suspension meets the frame, has some play in it. Not going to ride it until I replace those, which I guess is a fairly simple procedure once I have Estimated Reading Time: 4 mins.

Mar 22, To improve cornering ability, remove up to ½ inch of preload from factory IFS spring setting. Trade-off for removing ½ inch of preload will add steering effort. Limiter Strap Adjustment The front torque arm limiter strap is set at position (1).
